Once Jeff was home, I retired that bracelet and have since passed it on to Archie’s 2nd grade teacher back in early 2019 when we were dealing with the aftermath of the death of one Archie’s classmates. Whenever I started feeling overwhelmed, I would just glance at my wrist and there it was… You Got This. When Jeff was deployed back in 2015, I had a bracelet that said “You Got This” and I wore it every single day of that deployment as a gentle and constant reminder that I would indeed make it through those long 9 months. I have a few bracelets that contain positive messages and I swear they work as wonderful reminders throughout the day. One of my annoying teenagers asked why I was wearing my jeans back to front (due to the placing of the front pockets) but comments like that are best ignored. Annoyingly, they seem to have import duties when buying online from their site, but I HAVE found THE jeans at a UK stockist online. Now I want to own almost everything they make. I had never set foot in a Sessun shop until last week. I am aware that every month I seem to find the ‘best jeans ever’, but I think these have topped them all so far. So I thought I would run through six outfit ideas for right now, think easy late spring looks… BEST JEANS EVER (possibly) I have added a few new items to my wardrobe over the past couple of weeks. They’ve also done some collaborations using deadstock fabric that are available to buy online. My favourite was this denim number from Aligne. Isabel has curated another wonderful collection of brands. That really DID inspire me to start wearing my dresses again. That said, I did pay a visit to the Daily Dress Edit pop-up in London this week. I’m sure they will come along soon though, now that the sun actually seems to be making an appearance. I know I promised dresses, but I just haven’t been inspired enough by the dresses I’ve seen on the high street recently.
